Another re-release in Malaysia again, and this time Thai horror Khong Khaek 2 gets it Malaysian theatrical release on September 24, 2026 – Diana disappears into a forest around Mount Budo and later displays violent behavior, leading her husband Anas to kill her, before he then has to find a way to bring her soul back from the realm of the djinn.

Tamil horror sci-fi Nova is the debut feature from writer-director Milo Sai about a group of strangers trapped inside a mysterious abandoned house in a remote hill village, where a terrifying secret connects the year 1969 with the present day – the film was shot in the forests around Marayoor in Kerala and uses a story-within-a-story structure.

Malayalam horror Amanushikam apparently begins when the nail binding the vengeful spirit of Cheeru at Yakshikkavu is removed, before Vinu becomes falsely accused and begins investigating to prove his innocence, where he has to confront something he had previously rejected – the possibility that the supernatural is real.

Vietnam – Út Lan 2

Vietnamese horror Út Lan 2 is about a two-headed snake that appears and mysterious deaths start occurring in a riverside village.
