禁忌アーカイブ〈完全版〉 / Kinki Archive: Complete Edition is getting a 2-disc DVD release in Japan on December 2, 2026 – the film is split across 4 episodes.
Disc 1 – 58 minutes
Episode 1: A photographer taking pictures at an abandoned building discovers a CD-ROM containing inexplicable footage, and when investigators Miyoshi and Uesuteishi visit the location, they find a mysterious videotape apparently left there by someone, where they eventually discover that the various pieces of footage were sent from the same address and the same person.
Episode 2: Miyoshi and Uesuteishi investigate the person sending the disturbing videos and the person who made them, and the investigation starts revealing increasingly horrifying facts, along with the actual purpose behind the footage.
Disc 2 – 56 minutes
Episode 3: One month after the previous investigation, the investigation into the Miyuki/御幸の会 is called off, then news arrives that Daita has died in an accident, and a year later, a “final video message” from Daita appears, leading to the investigation being restarted and the existence of the curse being investigated again.
Episode 4: Miyoshi and Uesuteishi are contacted by someone called Sagano, who takes them to a particular location, where they discover members of the Miyuki/御幸の会, their faces hidden, filming a staged paranormal documentary, and the story eventually reveals the truth behind the footage that is supposedly being used to create a curse.
