Aplikasi Iblis poster

Indonesian horror film Aplikasi Iblis arrived in cinemas on October 15, 2026.

Directed by Dimas Anggara and produced by NIH Pictures, the 86-minute film stars Junior Roberts and Dosma Hazenbosch in a supernatural story involving a mysterious mobile app that allows people to contact the dead.

A year after his girlfriend Laras (Dosma Hazenbosch) dies in a tragic robbery, Arya (Junior Roberts) is still struggling to accept her death, and desperate to speak to her again, he discovers an application called I LET YOU IN, which claims to connect users with people who have passed away.

Arya manages to make contact with Laras, but the reunion brings a new problem – his attempts to maintain their relationship open the door to something dangerous, and the terror soon puts his own life at risk.

Cast and Production

Alongside Junior Roberts and Dosma Hazenbosch, the cast includes Della Dartyan, Ruth Marini, Aldo Irawan Putra, Aulia Deas, Dida Arlingga, Danang Susanto Perwira, Rifal F. Lestusen, Cut Ara and Muhammad Daffa Al-Harits.

Dimas Anggara previously directed #OOTD: Outfit of the Designer (2024), and speaking to ANTARA, he described his approach to Aplikasi Iblis as a mixture of horror, mystery and action, with the romantic drama between Arya and Laras running through the film.

The same ANTARA report includes comments from Junior Roberts about the physical demands of the role, which involved action scenes alongside the emotional side of Arya’s character.

The screenplay is credited to Tisa TS and Indra Bayu, with Delly Malik and Raden Dimas Aryanto producing.

Box Office and Reviews

According to FilmIndonesia, Aplikasi Iblis had recorded 12,466 admissions as of October 30, 2026, with a few reviews currently on Letterboxd, which are mostly negative so far.

About The Author

I am a fan of movies in general and watch quite a few every week, but my love for Asian horror started in the 90’s during the J-horror boom – you know the ones – and ever since then I’ve been hooked on discovering horror from across Asia, from the classics everyone knows to the hidden gems that deserve a much bigger audience.

On this site I explore Asian horror movies from across Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Cambodia, Malaysia, and beyond, since the big entertainment sites tend to focus only on the biggest releases.
