Plot
The Tao Exorcist follows Zhen-Kai, a man drowning in gambling debts and desperate to escape the violent creditors closing in on him.
With no way out, Zhen-Kai returns to a forbidden occult practice from his past – a dark ritual that promises wealth and a complete change in fortune, but the price comes at a horrifying cost as he sacrifices the luck and fate of his youngest child in exchange for prosperity.
At first, the ritual appears to succeed, with money beginning to flow in and Zhen-Kai believing he has finally escaped his troubles – but as the family begins experiencing terrifying supernatural events, the consequences of his actions slowly begin to reveal themselves.
