Another busy week for Asian horror fans with new films arriving in cinemas across Indonesia, Cambodia and Japan.
Indonesia. (July 23)
• Sihir Tanah Kubur – A supernatural horror about two brothers dealing with their mother’s strange final wishes and a dark graveyard ritual.
• Juminten Edan – A possession horror following a woman whose return to her village brings terrifying changes.
Cambodia (July 23)
• The Nail (ធ្វើ ក្រចក) – A horror film about a nail technician lured to an isolated village where a sinister cult awaits.
Japan (July 24)
• Sana: Play With Me (だぁれかさんとアソぼ?) – The third entry in the supernatural horror series from director Takashi Shimizu.
• Spooky Taxi: To Those Who Do Not Know the Decree (怪奇タクシー 布告を知らぬ者達に) – The latest instalment in the Japanese horror taxi anthology series.
• Living Corpse (怪奇!死肉の男) – An AI-assisted horror film based on the manga by Hideshi Hino.
